Bio
I am a public school baby from Palmyra, MO, and the system seems to have worked. I moved back to Missouri after many years of living on the beautiful left coast in Santa Clara, CA. The big three reasons why I returned to MO are:1) family; 2) earthquakes; and 3) long commutes. It was a very good decision. And now I'm here with you.

Not a teacher. I subbed and was awful at it, but that short-lived experience opened my eyes to your daily situations.
Interests
Outside of school I try to protect kids proactively by keeping a lookout for weirdos with cell phones. Away from schools, I read, walk, fulfill my news junkie daily fix, enter NCAA pools, and try to find funny things in life (like my selections in the NCAA pools.) My favorite sport is baseball, Cardinals of course, NCAA bball, and then 49er football. Sorry, but I was in CA when Joe Montana was in his prime - that's a player to whom I will stay loyal. Did you know Tony LaRussa danced in the SF production of the Nutcracker each Christmas with some of his players? Fundraisers, I think.
